This term we have started a new genius hour project. We think of a question about a problem we have noticed and then do some research about it. Later in the term we will create something to try and solve the problem.
This is Krisina and Losaline's project:

(To be sung) Who lives in a pineapple and was made by Room 3? Spongebob soft plastics bin!
In Technology we have been looking for problems in our school to try and solve. We noticed there was a lot of soft plastic waste that we had no way of recycling. We decided that this was not very sustainable. So we designed 3 bins to collect soft plastics (the one that collects the most will win a prize). If you had some soft plastics to recycle which bin would you choose?

Jagged Smackdown
In Room 3 we are all jagged. This means we are all good at different things and need to work on different things. Last week Room 3 students got advice from their families, friends and YouTube to work on their jagged goals. They then had 60 seconds to present their findings at our first ever Room 3 Smackdown!
