School Band's First Performance 2017

Yesterday afternoon (Friday afternoon) the school band were playing rude. This was the first time the band played for this year for room 5's assembly.
When the  bell rang for classes to go inside me and John (I am the one on the electric guitar and John is the one on the bass) waited and started setting up the stuff.
Me and John were nervous at that time because he said, "We might mess it up.’’
So when we were playing we tried our best to play and we got through the whole thing not making one mistake
So all of us were happy.
And had a good day.

Room 3's Perfect Playtime Play!

Here is our FIRST effort of our play reminding everyone at Wesley Primary how we are respectful and responsible at play times. There are lots of fails but we have started fixing them so look out for version 2 this week!

Icebergs!

We learnt a lot about icebergs this week. This was fun on its own but the reason we were learning about them was linked to our wellbeing focus of 'taking notice.'

We learned that there's usually a lot going on 'under the surface' with people which could mean they get misunderstood. Just like 8/9ths of an iceberg is under the surface of the sea.

Here is Rishi's report on icebergs:

And here is Yonatan's recount of a time he was misunderstood:

Room 3s lucky day!

Today we had our usual PB4L prize draw. Unusually all six winners from the Kea box were Room 3 students (sorry Room 4)! Here they are enjoying a game of touch in the sunshine as their prize.
